If you would rather run five different processes than the same part all week, this is a shop worth looking at.

APM is a family shop with fifteen machine tools and a lot of different work, which means nobody spends a career loading the same fixture. In one week you might run a production job on the Doosan, set up a five-axis part on the Hurco, turn a shaft on the Lynx, reverse-engineer a broken part with no print, and braze the assembly it goes into. Days only, 7 to 4, and the owner is on the floor.

- You can hold ±0.001″ without drama, you can set up your own work, and you would rather see a different part every week than the same one all year.
